These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the “WriteToWin” article writing competition (“Competition”) organized and administered by Adjuva Legal LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India (“Organizer,” “We,” “Us,” “Our”). 1.2. By submitting an entry (“Submission”) to the Competition, you (“Participant,” “You,” “Your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these T&Cs, the official Rules & Guidelines (“Rules”), and the decisions of the Organizer and the judging panel, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Competition. 1.3. The Competition details, Rules, and submission portal are available on the official Competition webpage: https://adjuvalegal.com/write-to-win/
(“Website”).
2. Organizer
2.1. The Organizer is Adjuva Legal LLP, with its principal place of business at 115-C Ashok Nagar Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India (211001).
3. Competition Period
3.1. The Competition submission period begins on the dates announced by the organiser as and when needed and ends on the second or third month or on the date decided by them at 11:59 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) (“Competition Period”). The Organizer reserves the right to modify the Competition Period at its discretion.
4. Eligibility
4.1. The Competition is open only to individuals who are legal residents of India and are between the ages of eight (8) and eighty (80) years as of the start date of the Competition Period. 4.2. Employees, partners, officers, and directors of the Organizer, members of the judging panel, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and household members are not eligible to participate. 4.3. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any Participant at any time. Participants must provide valid proof of age and residency upon request.
5. How to Enter
5.1. Participants must complete the official online entry form available on the Website during the Competition Period. 5.2. The entry form requires Participants to provide necessary personal details, including but not limited to full name, email address, age, and address. 5.3. As part of the entry process detailed on the Website, Participants must pay the required Entry Fee and submit their original article according to the Submission Requirements (Section 7). 5.4. Only Submissions received through the official online process during the Competition Period will be considered valid, or via email under exceptional circumstances. Submissions via post, WhatsApp, or any other method will not be accepted or judged. 5.5. Only one Submission is permitted per Participant per paid Entry Fee.
6. Entry Fee & Payment
6.1. An entry fee (“Entry Fee”) is required for each Submission. 6.2. Payment must be made online via the Razorpay payment gateway as directed during the online submission process. 6.3. The Entry Fee is non-refundable once the submission of the article is completed, except at the sole discretion of the Organizer, such as in the event of Competition cancellation by the Organizer before judging commences.
7. Submission Requirements
7.1. All Submissions must comply fully with the Rules published on the Website, including requirements regarding language (English), word count (1000-2500 words), file format (.doc, .docx, .pdf), and formatting (Times New Roman 12pt, double-spaced). 7.2. Originality & Plagiarism: Submissions must be the Participant’s own original, unpublished work. Plagiarism in any significant form, including failure to properly cite all sources (ideas, quotes, data) using [MLA Style/Specify Style], will result in immediate disqualification. The Organizer will utilize plagiarism detection software as an indicator; flagged Submissions will be manually reviewed by the organizing committee to assess context, check for proper citation, and determine if significant unattributed plagiarism has occurred. The Organizer’s decision on plagiarism is final. 7.3. AI Usage: While AI tools may be used for assistance (e.g., grammar checking, brainstorming, research), the submitted article must represent the Participant’s own ideas, analysis, structure, and final written expression. Submitting work largely generated by AI as one’s own original writing is prohibited and constitutes grounds for disqualification. 7.4. Anonymity for Judging: Participants must NOT include their names, contact details, or any other identifying information within the submitted article file itself. Personal details should only be provided via the online entry form. 7.5. Prohibited Content: Submissions must not contain content that is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, invasive of privacy, infringing on intellectual property rights, or otherwise objectionable, as determined by the Organizer in its sole discretion. The word count, or formatting, is subject to change.
8. Judging Process
8.1. Submissions will be judged anonymously by a panel of judges selected by the Organizer (“Judging Panel”). Details of the judges will be available on the Website. 8.2. Judging will be based on the official Judging Rubric published on the Website, considering criteria such as originality, clarity, research, argumentation, structure, impact, and grammar. 8.3. The decisions of the Judging Panel and the Organizer are final and binding on all Participants in all matters relating to the Competition.
