1. Introduction
1.1. This Refund Policy outlines the specific conditions under which a refund of the entry fee for the “WriteToWin” article writing competition (“Competition”), organized by Adjuva Legal LLP (“Organizer,” “We,” “Us”), may be requested. 1.2. This policy should be read in conjunction with the full Terms and Conditions and Rules & Guidelines available on the official Competition webpage: https://adjuvalegal.com/write-to-win/. By participating in the Competition, you agree to this Refund Policy.
2. General Policy: Non-Refundable Entry Fee
2.1. The entry fee required to participate in the Competition is generally non-refundable. 2.2. This fee covers essential administrative costs, platform maintenance, and judging coordination and contributes to the prize pool. Therefore, refunds are not issued for reasons such as participant withdrawal after submission, dissatisfaction with the competition outcome, disqualification due to rule violations (including plagiarism), or other circumstances not explicitly covered under the exception below.
3. Specific Exception for Refund: Payment Made but Article Not Submitted
3.1. A refund of the Entry Fee may be requested only if both of the following conditions are met: a) The participant completed the payment of the Entry Fee via the official Razorpay payment gateway integrated into the Competition’s online entry process. b) The participant did not complete the final step of submitting their article file via the official online submission process on the Website or via email before the official Competition submission deadline at 11:59 PM IST. c) For clarity, “successful submission” means completing all required fields in the submission form step where the article file is uploaded and confirming that submission step as required by the online process.
4. How to Request a Refund (Under the Specific Exception)
4.1. If you meet both conditions outlined in Section 3.1, you may request a refund by sending an email to writetowin@adjuvalegal.com. 4.2. Your refund request email must be sent within seven (7) calendar days immediately following the official Competition submission deadline. 4.3. Refund requests sent before the Competition submission deadline has passed or after the 7-day request window will not be considered or processed. 4.4. The refund request email must contain the following information: a) Subject Line: WriteToWin Refund Request b) Participant’s Full Name (as provided during entry/payment) c) Email Address used during entry/payment d) Valid Razorpay Transaction ID received upon successful payment.
5. Verification and Processing
5.1. Upon receiving a timely refund request containing all required information, the Organizer will verify the claim against its official payment and submission records. 5.2. The Organizer’s records will be the sole basis for determining whether both conditions in Section 3.1 have been met. The Organizer’s decision regarding eligibility for a refund is final and binding. 5.3. If the refund request is verified and approved, the refund will be processed back to the original payment method used via Razorpay. Please allow approximately 15-30 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, subject to the processing times of Razorpay and your bank. 5.4. Please note that any transaction fees charged by the payment gateway (Razorpay) may be deducted from the refunded amount, as per their policies.
6. Exclusions
6.1. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances other than the specific exception outlined in Section 3. This includes, but is not limited to: a) Participants who successfully submitted their article file, regardless of whether they wish to withdraw it later. b) Participants who are disqualified for violating the Competition Rules or Terms & Conditions (e.g., plagiarism, prohibited content). c) Participants experiencing technical difficulties on their own end (e.g., internet issues, computer problems) that prevent submission. d) Participants who simply change their mind about participating.

8. Policy Amendments
